All creation made with the word
Today God is just speaking to me of the power of the spoken word. The word that created in the beginning; the word that we were made out of; the word that we are; the word of God.
On earth there are lots of animals but they can’t say a word, the only creation to speak the word is us, the only creation over the earth that was given the word.
Genesis 1:3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.
Genesis1:4 And God said, "Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water." 7 So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water above it. And it was so.
Never in the word has the word of God been vain, He spoke and al these things were there because the word has power to create. It is not just a word but a living word, it is full of life.
Genesis1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground”.
Even when God created us man, “God said”, He spoke, He said. The Lord before he even used his hands, before even giving us breath He had to say something. He had to use the power of the word. And before saying this word God had already known he was going to make man, he knew he was going to create his own likeness, Ephesians 1:3 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight”. Why do you think He is the King of kings? He said “in our own image”, at the time he did this he had to stop what so ever business the heavens were busy with only to make you, he had to call upon the havens, upon the Son; He had to call upon the holly spirit “Let us make”.
Man given the Power of the word
And most of all, Let them have dominion over everything upon the earth. God had power coz He was the Father, there was the Son and the Holly spirit all in one. Now he had given all these things unto man. Genesis 1:2 now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. Even the spirit of God was there at the time.
Man had the choice and the chance to rebuke the serpent when he tempted them, coz man had authority, he had the power of the spirit, the power of the spoken word and the Father to guide him, the serpent also could not take the power of the word he only made man unholy and that was the only way that he could push, rule over the earth. Remember the devil tempted man and man was the one who acted and sinned against God.
Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; appointed you as a prophet to the nations." 6 "Ah, Sovereign LORD," I said, "I do not know how to speak; I am only a child." 7 But the LORD said to me, "Do not say, 'I am only a child.' You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you," declares the LORD. When God was talking to Jeremiah he said do not say you can not speak coz man had the power of the word.
But now John 1:1 “in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.” This was the word that created with God and being God; the Authority given to man, the power of the power that was given to man in the beginning because of the presence of the word it was easy to give man dominion. When you say you are using authority you command using the word, when you ask you use the word. The word was there in the beginning and man used the word to get to God, to ask God, to talk to God. Now in the next subheading let’s look at this carefully.
The Word is Life
John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. The word now became flash coz God knew that in order to save man, a sacrifice made out of man should be done, for man to defeat death a man had to die and be awoken so that eternal life may be restored but that was done through the Son of God who became flesh. That is why Christ had to rise from death coz that now resembled life and death in sin. But even before this, Christ said it that he shall rebuild the temple in 3 days. The temple then was a building for God to dwell in but now he wanted to dwell in us, to give life to us.
John 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of men. Christ came to give us life and life in abundance. Therefore when one accepts Christ he accepts life, and life is in him coz now it no longer dwells in a temple built buy the hand of man, but in our bodies created by God. If the word in us is life therefore what we speak is life, meaning what you speak comes to pass. James 3:5 Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. What you speak is very important coz it can kill and it can bring life.
With faith as a pushing force, words that come out of mouth can be able t do anything, to be saved you confess first. To have a positive life you confess first, that is the importance of the word that come out your mouth. Mark 11: 23 I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. You do not need to do anything it will be done for you. You just need to confess, have faith, and stand in faith so all these things shall come to pass. Where there is hope there is faith, you only need faith as small as a mustard see and that is even smaller than your tooth.
Start speaking the Word
The only problem we are having is that we ask too much but speak the word less, what about speaking the word more in our lives and asking less. The word says God blessed you before you were formed, while you were still in the spirit, while you were still in the heart of God, in the realms of the spirit. Why then do you have to ask God for a blessing?
Matthew 16:19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. The words you speak contain power, you ask why you are struggling, and you ask why nothing is going right. You say God has forsaken you; that mean you are still a baby in the spirit; you do not know what you are talking about. You have the word of God to use, you were given authority to loose things in you own life, why don’t you do it your self and stop nagging God.
You contain the power; it was given to you, and let us look at Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. That doesn’t even need to be explain NIV version says it clearly, faith is confidence in what we hope for, I know we all hope for many things, good career, good life, a wonderful family, wealth, but are you confident in your hopes, are you sure, are you certain, are you positive, not doubting. Coz that’s what being confident is. It goes down and says having assurance about things we do not see, “blessed be the Lord” if you check the meaning of assurance it is the positive declaration, the word (word is spoken), a promise, guaranty, being free from doubt, then that means you are a sure. But this guaranty is on things unseen, things not in front of your eyes, but they are there in your heart, in your spirit in your words. All you need to do is speak the word.
“You find Christian that are good to God, faithful to Him, the please them in their work’s in their heart they have these prayers but they are living miserable lives, coz they do not know what to do, they end up thinking it is good for a Christian to suffer, they end up thinking it is good for them to be living that kind of life, didn’t God say we are reach, gold and silver is ours. But because all they do is pray in their hearts and think that it’s fine, I am telling you, you can pray in your heart all you want but until you attar a word nothing will be okay, coz the word says let not this book depart from your mouth, you have to speak this word in your life, speak you to self, say God I am free coz you can never be free until you say, you keep on saying it, you can start a march in your house with your family, you going around saying “I am free” coz that word was first in you mind (you imagine it), and then once you are sure you start putting it in your spirit and it is created in your spirit coz you believe it is done even though it’s not yet manifested , but in the spirit it is, then you make it your daily word, your practice speaking positive, that is when things in your life change, stop asking God, coz when you ask for things that are already given to you, to God you are like a new born baby speaking lha-lha-lha-lha-lha but no one know what you are saying, coz the word already says you are free” Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
Now brothers and sisters speak life in your situation, doesn’t matter what they are coz they are lies, you have to speak life, believe it shall come to pass, let in be in your heart. You want to be promoted at work and be a manager, I say you are, all you need it to put your self there, you mind, your spirit and speak the word, “I am a manager, I am a manager, I am a manager, I am a manager” coz you are. Only because you live the life given to you by God, you know your benefits in Christ. The word say we should not conform to the standards of this world, why then to we have to, you say you are poor, then you are coz you are saying it, you say you are useless then you are coz you are saying it, you are speaking the word, Remember what is bound on earth is bound in heaven, what is loose on earth is loose even in heaven you were given this power, to bind things, to loosen things.
It starts today; it starts with me and you now, not tomorrow now. You are blessed, you are free, and you are victorious.
Conclusion
You know a month back I was telling one of my sisters in Christ about something that God reveled to me, I have been wanting to move out of town for sometime, applying for many jobs, and a question came to heart, “why are you applying for so many jobs, why not one” the reason is one and it is “maybe” you don’t need to use that word, coz “maybe” is wondering and if you wonder you don’t receive. Coz that means I never trusted God with the first one, I never trusted I would get it, or maybe the other one had more money. Listen make up your mind first before you start speaking the word of God, Be sure first, be certain coz that is what having assurance is. Rest assured in God, when your mind wonders tell it not to wonder.
In conclusion let me tell you, I haven’t been sure of myself for a long time, I have been sure of my ways if they can ever be good, I haven’t been sure if I can do anything better, I haven’t been sure if things can go well in my life, but today I am writing to you because I am sure, I have assurance, I believe. I haven’t been sure if I could stop drinking, I hadn’t been sure if I could stop smoking, I hadn’t been sure if I can really be what God wants me to be. I hadn’t been sure if I can walk this road. But now I am sure, I am sure I can do it, coz I am of the royal priest hood, I am child of the most high God. As Pastor Chris would say “I am one of God’s kind.”
Today I also say you are, today I say you also can, “I can do it, I can walk this walk, I can be what God wants me to be, I am God’s kind” doesn’t matter what you say, it doesn’t matter if you think I could never change I have gone too deep, it’s doesn’t matter if you say I can never be like I was before, you know why? Coz I say I am, I can” That I have imagined in my mind, that I have seen in my spirit, that I have spoken with my mouth, that I do believe. Even you can, even you are, and you can also say it and it shall be. Listen I am not God ask to make you say it, you take your own decision. The only thing I say is can, you are, and I believe it. Let’s do it together, let imagine it together, let’s put it in our spirit, let create it there, let’s speak it. Coz we are the children of the most High. “Before the foundation of the world I chose you, I made you holy and blame less” that is what God says to you today. Abraham was made blameless, holly, clean, sinless through his faith. It can happen to you and me today.
Now brothers and sisters lets put this into action. Speak the word for it is life and the light of man.
